NOVEMBER CONTEST: SLOWVEMBER
I had an idea about a young ghost leaving home and a heart broken mother ghost. It's tough moving out on your own when you're alive and it must be even harder to cross over! Very sad story. I hope the rest of the family leave the old run down house soon!

JULY CONTEST: WHEN SUMMER VACATION GOES WRONG.
Update, I did not win, or even place, in this contest. It's all good. Honestly, I'm a little down because I've been striking out pretty regularly of late in the art contest arena. Maybe this style isn't working?? People don't seem to be "gathering" around it. I think I'll hold on to it for a while longer, see what happens. Keep on with keeping on :-)

The Science of Saving Money ( New style )
I've been playing with a new style. Bold, easy to produce, simple line drawing with a Winsor & Newton Series 7, size 1, brush. I like the less is more work flow. I've done several line test with digital brushes and I wasn't in love with the results. It just didn't "feel" right. I think when it comes to creating art dependent on a simple black line, it has to be perfect!! ( ie, Peanuts) I love the look/feel of the traditional brush.
